The property had the benefit of a planning consent for a high density residential development scheme, subject to the signing of a Section 106 agreement. We began marketing the property in December 2015 and received significant interest. As a result, a shortlist of prospective purchasers were asked to put forward their best and final bids along with their conditions, which resulted in the selection of an unconditional bid.

The sale completed in just over 4 weeks from agreement of the heads of terms of sale, in March 2016, notwithstanding the negotiation of a fairly complex overage / clawback agreement.
